What Teilmann charges

Three menus, each with its own per-guest figure. Shopping, cooking, plating and the washing-up are already inside every number below.

$145/guest

4 plates · nothing to choose

No choosing. Four dishes, all of them on the table, and the lamb is the reason to order it.

  • Sous-vide lamb chopsWhere the technique earns its keep
  • BaklavaNutty, honeyed, to finish

  • Bánh flanCaramel custard, Vietnamese-style

  • Shrimp cocktailChilled
  • Grilled ribeyeGarlic herb butter, roasted potatoes and asparagus
  • Mini crème brûléeOne each

Nothing here quite right? The per-guest logic holds for anything Teilmann quotes off the list too — you see the figure with the menu, before you agree to a date.

About Teilmann

Teilmann is the one to book if you would rather not make decisions. His menus are set, four courses, every dish listed in advance and included — no choosing one from column A. He learned to cook young alongside his mother in Pohnpei, Micronesia, then co-founded a delivery-only kitchen that ran on consistent five-star reviews before he moved to cooking privately, and he works in sous-vide French technique with Thomas Keller as the reference point. That combination gives him an unusually wide list for a five-year career: Greek one night, Vietnamese the next, then a ribeye with crème brûlée after it. He is also the cheapest chef here, with a dozen menus at $145.

  • Twelve of his menus sit at $145, all four courses, all inclusive
  • Fixed menus — every dish is listed up front instead of chosen at the table
  • Cooks sous-vide, which is why the lamb and the steak come out the way they do

Cooks: Sous-vide cooking · Fixed four-course menus · Celebration and party dinners · Cooking around allergies.

Background: learned in a home kitchen in Pohnpei, Micronesia; co-founded a delivery-only kitchen that ran on five-star reviews; sous-vide and modern French technique, self-directed through courses and master classes.

Groups book Teilmann for bachelor and bachelorette weekends, anniversaries, houses full of kids and first-time private-chef dinners.

Cooks most often in: Old Town Park City, Prospector, Canyons Village, Silver Creek, Kimball Junction, Jordanelle.

What guests wrote afterwards

“He answered every question I had before the night and sent photos and menu options unprompted, which made the planning easy. Turned up on time, tomato bisque to start, and was polite to a fault all evening.”

— Park City · 5.0

“Knew his food, handled the allergies in our group properly, and read the room — present when you wanted him, invisible when you did not. Felt like one of the party without being in the middle of it.”

— Park City · 5.0

“Our house was chaos, babies and toddlers everywhere, and he did not blink. What came out was a beautiful restaurant dinner in the middle of all that. Worth what we paid.”
